Project Manager - Strategy & Transformation Nuveen has an opportunity for a Project Manager, Strategy & Transformation. This role will support the transformation and strategy efforts for our organization. This role will collaborate with the office of CIO and other strategy and corporate development stakeholders. The project manager will collectively drive outcomes for business unit and IT project teams utilizing a broad set of skills, including persuasion, issue and data analysis, problem solving, project management, and communication. Key Responsibilities and Duties * Provide thought leadership and strategic analysis to cross-functional teams, work with the office of CIO to translate business objectives to specific IT strategies, services, and products. * Perform secondary research and analysis on market, industry, consumer, and competitor trends; be able to synthesize findings into insights and practical recommendations and strategic moves. * Coordinate aspects of the iterative strategic planning process. * Assist in content development for senior management meetings and presentations. * Monitor and report on a portfolio of strategic initiatives to ensure progress is made toward the company's growth objectives. * Advise senior management on roadblocks and coach division personnel on strategy development. Assist with ad hoc strategic or business development inquiries (e.g., product, channel, alliance, acquisition, market assessment). * Support ongoing business intelligence, competitive tracking, timelines, key planning steps, and best practice efforts. * Develop knowledge and skills necessary to assume additional responsibilities within group. * Lead/support sourcing and execution activities associated with significant acquisitions, partnerships, and alliances. * Communicate regularly with all levels of stakeholders to include escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from management. Educational Requirements * University (Degree) Preferred Work Experience * 2+ Years Required; 3+ Years Preferred Physical Requirements * Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work Career Level 6IC Qualifications: Required: * Minimum of 2+ years of Project management experience in business strategy formulation, IT strategy formulation, business scenario development, and innovation. * Minimum of 2 years' experience with business case development, business domain analysis, corporate research, new technology evaluation, and risk management. * Possess a working knowledge of risk/return analysis. * Proficient with MS Office/Teams. Preferred: * Experience working in the financial services industry. * PM Certification. * Analytical/Decision making experience. * Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products. * Ability to deliver technical demonstrations. * Ability to influence and manage stakeholders. * Knowledge of a broad range of cloud application and infrastructure services * Knowledge of forecasting, modeling, and scenario development tools and techniques #LI-VR1 Related Skills Adaptability, Collaboration, Communication, Consultative Communication, Executive Presence, General Risk Management, Influence, Problem Solving, Program Management, Project Management, Relationship Management, Stakeholder Engagement Anticipated Posting End Date: 2024-11-08 Base Pay Range: $86,300/yr. - $125,000/yr. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
