Duties and Responsibilities * Project Management: Update project management software multiple times a day to track job status and ensure accuracy. * Collaboration with Estimating and Drafting: Coordinate with the Estimating and Drafting teams multiple times a week for takeoff requests, supporting project estimates. * Documentation and Paperwork: Complete product and install selection paperwork based on designs selected by the TVID Interiors Designer. * Design Coordination: Work closely with the TVID Interiors Designer multiple times a week to clarify questions about design selections made during appointments. * Install Preparation: Complete various workpapers and checklists to ensure successful installations. * Proactive Issue Resolution: Identify potential scheduling or product issues and offer solutions to prioritize customer satisfaction. * Daily Task Management: Follow daily tasks and directives as assigned by the Sales Specialist. * Scheduling Assistance: Help coordinate product deliveries and installation schedules to meet project timelines. * Internal Communication and Collaboration: Actively share valuable information with all internal departments to enhance the customer experience. * Task Ownership: Identify tasks that can be managed independently to increase the Sales Specialist's capacity. * Customer Experience Improvement: Collaborate with the Sales Specialist to enhance customer interactions and ensure a positive experience. * Professional Customer Interaction: Engage with customers and subcontractors professionally and warmly to foster strong relationships. * Architectural Plan Interpretation: Possess a solid understanding of architectural house plans, including the ability to read floor plan layouts. * Customer Service Support: Share responsibility for answering the phone and greeting walk-in customers at Design Innovations. * Observant and Perceptive: Be intuitive and perceptive when working with others, identifying and addressing needs. * Time Management: Excel at time management and task prioritization without needing constant supervision. * Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all tasks and ensure accuracy. * Product Pricing Updates: Assist in keeping product pricing categorization systems (such as the sticker program) up to date. * Clear Communication: Communicate openly and clearly with team members, supervisors, and managers. * Workspace Maintenance: Keep your workspace organized and clean. * Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to team success. Requirements Required: * Effective Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Task Prioritization and Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage distractions, and work efficiently under pressure. * Adaptability and Versatility: Willingness to be flexible, follow directions, and adjust approach as needed to meet demands. * Construction Industry Knowledge: General understanding of the construction industry with a commitment to growing this knowledge. * Microsoft Office Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft platforms. * Calm and Dependable: Ability to stay calm under pressure while being reliable, responsible, and dependable. * Positive Attitude: Maintain a constructive, can-do attitude to contribute to a positive work environment. * Time Management: Ability to complete tasks quickly and productively, meeting deadlines and objectives effectively.
