With over two decades of experience in the maintenance and construction industries, we are seeking to add an LEAD Maintenance Technician to our dynamic team.Scope of WorkAs a member of the facility maintenance team, you will utilize your skills to help support the repair and general upkeep of varies pieces of equipment throughout the operation. The successful candidate will carry out preventative, repair, and corrective maintenance on caster decks and conveyor systems. You must be well versed in electrical relay and motor mechanics and have an in-depth knowledge of the inner workings of conveyor systems, electrical controls, electromechanical devices.Compensation: $35.00-$45.00 per hour (Based on Experienced), medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 401kResponsibilities include:Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery and electrical equipment such as motors, electrical circuits, SICK ATR systems, and conveyor systems in accordance with diagrams, electrical drawings, operational manuals and manufacturer's specifications using hand tools and precision measuring and testing instrumentsMonitor MHE metrics and partner with controls technicians and mechanics to resolve equipment electrical problems that create performance deficienciesAnalyze root causes of electrical failures and propose remedy and resolution as well as continuous monitoring for ways to improve and optimize the systemInterpret schematics and engineering drawings in reference to layout, location, and operation of the system(s)Respond to breakdowns and emergency calls quickly to minimize downtime and maintain efficiencyDocument maintenance activities and safety precautions on all equipment worked onOther duties as assignedRequirementsWorking knowledge of mechanical, electrical systems, and electromechanical devices up to 480 volts such as motors, DC clutches, switches, panels, controls, etc.2+ years of experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs and DC DrivesAttention to detail and prioritization skillsMust have a valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience- approvals and final decision is subjected to our automobile insurance carrier's criteriaAbility to read and interpret technical blueprints and diagramsKnowledge of standard safety procedures and regulationPhysical DemandsRepetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walkingLifting parts and tools weighing on average 20 pounds, occasionally weighing up to 50 pounds unassistedDexterity in eye/hand coordination, feet (foot pedals) manual (picking, pinching, holding, grasping), and wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation)Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours and wet or uneven surfacesSalary Description $35.00- $45.00 per hour
