Job descriptionJob SummaryMaintenance Technician Lawson Home Services, LLC - Milton, DE 19968Apply NowWe are hiring a maintenance technician to join our growing staff. You will inspect different equipment and perform any basic repairs or preventative maintenance when required. To do well in this role you should have previous experience in maintenance, be skilled with various hand and power tools, and be able to read blueprints and repair manuals. Having a knack for taking small tools or equipment apart, diagnosing the problem and fixing it, putting the items back together correctly. Your must have a CLEAN license. Pass a FULL drug test to earn a DOT for vehicles over 10KMaintenance Responsibilities:*Checking in all orders accurately scanning billsConduct routine DOT inspection of trucks and daily visual building and tool inspectionsSet-up Inventory & ordering systemPerforming preventative maintenance on equipment and tools.Handling basic repairs and maintenance.Overseeing if contractors are needed & professional repairs are necessary.Diagnosing basic mechanical issues and correct them.Repairing machines, equipment, or tools as necessary.Keeping the shop area orderly/labeling shelves/building shelvesRunning machineryMaintenance Requirements:Proven maintenance experience.Related degree from a technical college or 2-3 years experienceSkilled in the use of hand and power tools.Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.Ability to check blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.Ability to use common tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and wrenches.Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices.Experience performing routine maintenance.Strong organizational and follow up skills.Professional presentation and attitude.Ability to maintain focus while working individually.Ability to stay motivated and work into a routineAbility to ensure Shop stays neat organized and everything has a placeAt Lawson Home Services we redefine our industry not only for our customers but also for our employees.
