Smyth and Co is currently seeking a skilled and passionate Sous Chef to join the culinary team at our client's luxury Private Members Club. Specializing in casual fine dining, our client is dedicated to creating exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities: Support the Head Chef in leading a team of culinary professionals to maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation. Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop and refine menus Uphold health and safety regulations and kitchen cleanliness standards at all times. Assist in inventory management, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and optimize cost-effectiveness. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, communication, and professional development among kitchen staff. Requirements: Proven experience as a Sous Chef preferably in high-volume restaurant settings. Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to support and motivate a team of culinary professionals. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate operational requirements. A positive attitude, passion for food, and dedication to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
