This role will report directly to our Operations Manager and will work out of our brand-new state of the art manufacturing facility in Columbus (Whitehall) Ohio. salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year shift: Third work hours: 11 PM - 7 AM education: High School Responsibilities + Tracks key performance indicators (KPI's) of the production team's performance including safety, efficiency, waste, downtime, labor hours, and ensure expectations are met or exceeded. + Responsible for monitoring the total production process including continual monitoring of the total product flow, equipment, process methodology, mechanical repair work orders, on-the-job training of employees, writing and developing standard operating procedures (SOP), product quality, product yields and safety excellence. + Ability to look at the production floor with a 48-hour mindset, ensuring the next production day is set for successful. + Knows and understands all equipment in the plant from staging, consuming, and processing materials and final assembly. + Complete understanding of product and process specifications: Able to identify, execute and communicate all aspects. + Maintains workflow by monitoring steps of the process, setting processing variables, and observing control points, labor, and equipment. + Continuously improve operations to maximize profit and minimize cost. + Works effectively with the maintenance team to minimize production downtime and ensure preventative maintenance is performed on schedule. + Investigates and resolves production deviations and issues using six sigma tools. + Assists in production or other duties as assigned when needed.
