Job Summary: The Bar Prep Person plays a crucial role in ensuring the bar runs smoothly and efficiently. This position involves preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and making sure the bar has everything it needs for a smooth service. Key Responsibilities: Ingredient Preparation: Wash, cut, and prepare fruits, herbs, and garnishes for cocktails. Ensure all ingredients are fresh and readily available. Stock Management: Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining proper stock levels for the bar. Cleaning and Organization: Keep the bar area clean and organized, including washing glassware, utensils, and equipment. Adhere to Standards: Follow health and safety regulations, as well as company policies regarding food and beverage preparation. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure excellent communication. Qualifications: Previous experience in a kitchen or bar environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of basic bartending techniques and cocktail ingredients is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Must be of legal drinking age.
