At Essity: This Is What We Do About the Role Essity Health and Medical Solutions is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to be based in our facility in Manchester, CT. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for planning and executing strategically important projects from idea through completion within Essity. The Senior Project Manager is managing large and complex and/or international projects that affect the Health and Medical organization. The role is responsible for managing projects in line with predefined budget, timeline and quality criteria. If this is you, we'd love to talk. What You Will Do * Planning of project with cross functional team. Project team set up and resources allocation; * Approval of project budget and resources. Alignment of project deliverables, quality requirements and success criteria; * Execution of strategically important projects; * Secure required resources and use formal processes and tools to manage resources, budget, risk and chance within allocated projects; * Bring excellence in leadership, competence, experience and project tools enabling successful completion of complex and important projects; * Ensure effective communication to stakeholders. Constantly update project team, Steerco and stakeholders on changes. Get required approvals; * Manage functional and site resources allocation to the projects, Identify and address bottlenecks; * Make sure that project and initiatives are executed based on existing project management and functional standards and best practices; * Secures application of standards within the plant; * Drives and executes together with local stakeholders' actions to optimize product/material/equipment utilization for respective projects; * Support preparation of budget updates and forecast for projects as well as actuals tracking; * Leads, coaches and trains project members according to pre-defined methods and standards; * Drives the continuous improvement approach in the initiatives and projects execution; * Manage Project Capex TG approvals for projects; * Maintain project management system. Who You Are * Minimum 5 years' experience in project management and product supply; * Leadership, facilitating and influencing skills, project management, ability to work across boundaries, holistic thinking and business understanding, value creation, can do attitude, results focus; * Strong project management, CAPEX management experience; * Strong leadership and direct people management experience; * Senior stakeholder management experience (i.e. site managers, cross functional global directors, VPs) and business acumen; * Experience in transfer and technology implementation initiatives as well as continuous improvement projects; * Entrepreneur mindset able to take the lead and support business growth strategies/plans with minimum guidance; * Experience to lead cross-functional teams and able to lead cross functional teams without having direct authority; * Good knowledge of English language both written and spoken; * Spanish knowledge is a plus; * Engineering and technical skills, experience as process/operations/start up leader of advantage.
