Position Summary Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading Fleet Maintenance companies in the U.S., is seeking an Inventory Specialist. This role will be responsible for the execution of inventory strategies for the Mobile Service Centers and Fleet Service Centers. They will analyze historical data and trends to identify areas of opportunity and risk to the operations teams. They will coordinate inventory counts and manage overage of inventory levels with Senior Leadership. Benefits: Full-Benefits within 30 days! Compensation: Competitive Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday! Hourly Pay Range: $25-30/hr Shift: Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm Essential Duties & Responsibilities Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * Manages quarterly inventory counts with the operations team and seeks for areas of opportunities to improve upon. * Performs weekly inventory count. * Maintains required quantity of supplies and materials to optimize production. * Analyzes current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company. * Monitories inventory levels and usage reports to ensure that reordering points are accurate. * Identify, prioritize, develop, and implement complex cross-functional inventory control process improvement projects that include forward-thinking on project introduction, development, and implementation. * Helps maintain the cleanliness of the shop. * Parts pickup as needed for priority repair orders. Key Competencies and Minimum Education Desired Qualifications: * Understanding of statistical analysis and parts forecasting methodologies * Highly Proficient in Microsoft Excel * Excellent written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.) * Ability to follow instructions and complete required training. * Strong computer skills/phone/customer service/leadership and interpersonal skills * Must be multi-tasked oriented. * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
