Come join us and be a part of our amazing team! Himalayan Pet Supply is accepting applications for a Shipping Associate. We are looking for someone who is willing to work for a small (but rapidly growing) company. This Shipping Associate must be able to work under limited supervision, perform a variety of semi-skilled work and perform related duties as assigned. Employees will be working in a food manufacturing facility to box and ship out our product.Duties Include but are not limited to:Perform daily shipping tasksPull, pack and ship finished goods; small packages & LTL ordersReport and replace any defective items prior to packingCreate shipping labels and Bill of LadingPrepare and paste labels on shipments for small packages and LTL ordersEnsure that all transactions are recorded in the shipment log on a daily basisTrack all shipmentsMake sure that shipments are properly loaded onto the carriers vehicle in a safe and timely mannerEnsure that boxes are properly packed and labeledOperate forklift when neededHandle monthly cycle countingGenerate daily, weekly, monthly & yearly reportReport directly to Shipping SupervisorQualifications:* Must be able to lift up to 65 pounds occasionally* Must be able to stand for duration of shift* Must be able to understand directions given in English and able to respond accordingly* Able to use box cutter when necessary and safely* Must have reliable transportation and be able to work Monday - Friday (staying longer if necessary)* Must have some shipping knowledge and experiencePersonality Traits requested in each applicant:* Willing to work in a team setting and individually* Detail oriented* Safety Focused* Punctual* MotivatedJob Type: Full-time M-F 9AM-5PMPay: From $18.00-20.00 per hour based on experiencePowered by JazzHR
