What You Get to Do: * Perform diverse horticultural, grounds keeping and greenhouse tasks, such as watering, weeding, planting, transplanting, pruning, mulching, and mowing * Provide supervision and training of ambassadors in carrying out grounds keeping operations and provide performance feedback, counseling, and developmental discussions * Operate and all maintain equipment: mowers, augers, trimmers, shears, tillers, utility carts, water tanks, tractors, forklift, etc. * Perform tasks related to cold-weather protection as well as preparation for storms and perform repair work for any weather damage or other damage * Prep, maintain and staff seasonal firepits * Maintain a safe, clean, professional workplace * Provide exemplary service to guests and team members. * Ensure compliance of Child Labor Laws with regards to breaks, lunches and hours worked per day * Assist with other duties as assigned What it Takes to Succeed: * A valid driver's license and ability to obtain a park driver's license * Detail oriented, able to handle multiple tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment under general supervision * Ability to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements to include but not limited to passing required tests and certifications within established timelines * Available to work varying shifts or hours based on park hours including nights, holidays and weekends * Consistently practice safe work habits including the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and reporting unsafe situations * Ability to stand, walk, and work for prolonged periods of time * Willingness to comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards * Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Applications The perks of the position: Ambassadors will enjoy a fun, fast-paced environment, and great teammates, as well as: * FREE park admission * Discounts on park admission tickets and passes for family and friends * Park discounts on food, merchandise, etc. * Scholarship opportunities * Exclusive employee events and giveaways EEO Employer: SEAWORLD PARKS & ENTERTAINMENT IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
