Maintenance Mechanic

General Summary of Position Job Summary: Performs a variety of general, mechanical, and preventive maintenance on hospital equipment and facilities. Primary Duties: * Carries out construction and renovation assignments in accordance with work order and specification. * Coordinates preventive maintenance with emergency and repair work activities. * Performs general maintenance and repair of heating, ventilating, refrigeration, cooling, and air-conditioning systems and equipment of the hospital. * Performs repairs on mechanical and electrical systems as directed and inspects assigned areas and responds to logbook requests. * Repairs building systems including roofs, walls, fixtures, and trim. * Monitors conditions to ensure compliance with all safety codes and manufacturers specifications. Qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED required. * Equivalent required. * 1-2 years 2 years related maintenance experience required. * Verbal and written communication skills. * Basic computer skills preferred. This position has a hiring range of $23.19 - $38.49
