Position Title: Lead Line Cook Location: Stonecreek Golf Club As the Lead Line Cook at Stonecreek Golf Club, you will be an integral part of our kitchen team, overseeing the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food to the highest standards. The Lead Line Cook ensures that all menu items are prepared efficiently, consistently, and in accordance with safety and quality standards. You will work closely with our Chef and kitchen staff to create an extraordinary dining experience for our guests. Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen line, ensuring food is prepared and served in a timely and high-quality manner. Prepare and cook food items according to the club's menu specifications and established recipes. Supervise and mentor other line cooks, ensuring proper training on techniques, safety, and cleanliness standards. Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering, and ensure proper rotation of stock. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist in the development of new menu items and special event offerings, providing input on seasonal menus. Handle food prep and cooking during high-volume hours, ensuring efficiency and quality. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth communication and service during busy shifts. Demonstrate leadership and problem-solving skills, helping to resolve issues quickly and efficiently. Support our Chef with menu planning, kitchen organization, and maintaining a productive kitchen environment. Qualifications Prefer 3 years experience in a fast-paced kitchen, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role. Strong understanding of kitchen operations, including inventory, food prep, and cooking techniques. Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team. Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure. Knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen safety procedures. Culinary degree or relevant certifications preferred but not required.
