The Wethersfield High School is seeking a motivated and dedicated professional to serve as an Administrative Clerk II in our Main Office. This position is vital to our school as the incumbent has regular and constant interaction with our staff, students, administrators and parents/families.Job responsibilities will include the following. Candidates must be able to show demonstrated experience and/or applicable knowledge in the majority of these areas: Sign-in visitors via the Raptor system and greet all visitors to the building; Answer incoming calls to the office from outside of the building as well as internally; Assist parents, students and staff with routine questions; Page students via intercom system; Issue student passes; File; Manage ID replacements and PowerSchool pictures; Process working papers; Process attendance paper notes; Manage tracker for building announcements; Check and correct attendance abnormalities; Check staff attendance submissions; Monitor tardy ID swipes and passes; Process outgoing mail through postage meter and distribute incoming mail; Update contact change requests in ParentSquare; Assist Secretaries as needed; Other duties as assigned by administration. Qualifications: Minimum of a high school degree and three (or more) years of office experience; Experience in the use of Microsoft Office and Google software applications; Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to work cooperatively with other office personnel; Ability to handle and treat information confidentially; Ability to relate effectively with staff, parents, students and the public; Ability to work in a high paced office environment.
