Administers routine oral, subcutaneous, and intramuscular medications as well as treatments in accordance with nursing protocol, facility policies, and procedures.Monitors health conditions of the individuals and reports findings to medical provider and appropriate staff. Assists physician/practitioner with examinations and treatments as needed.Maintains a safe and sanitary living and working environment.Ensures accountability and protection from harm for all individuals through appropriate and thorough documentation.Reviews Monthly Medication Administration Record (MAR) and 90-day recertification orders, completes healthcare records, AIMS/DISCUS, swallowing and SAOM Evaluations. Assists with weights and heights as ordered and indicated by policy and procedures.
