Customer Service Representative

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in the water industry, based in Greenville, South Carolina. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be tasked with duties that ensure efficient and courteous customer interactions, accurate record keeping, and prompt resolution of customer complaints. Responsibilities - Respond to customer interactions via various channels, ensuring a professional, courteous, and timely response. - Investigate and resolve customer complaints, determining the validity of the complaint and the appropriate corrective action to be taken. - Record a brief overview of all customer communications for reference and tracking purposes. - Perform routine cashiering tasks, such as processing payments, posting payments to accounts, and updating account information. - Develop a rapport with customers, demonstrating ownership of their account and addressing their needs effectively. - Research customer accounts to determine necessary adjustments according to established rules and procedures. - Notify customers of due deposits and payment discrepancies when necessary. - Use your skills in customer service and computer data entry to assist customers and answer inbound calls professionally. - Post time extensions for payments when necessary. - Balance cash drawers and forward revenues as appropriate. Requirements - Proficient in providing exceptional customer service. - Experience in answering inbound calls professionally. - Ability to assist customers with their queries effectively. - Strong skills in computer data entry. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Knowledge of the water industry is a plus. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations. - Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with others. - High level of professionalism and ethical standards. - Flexibility to work in different shifts, including weekends and holidays. - High school diploma or equivalent required. Higher education in a related field is a plus.
