Jeju Noodle Bar is looking for cooks. Opening mid August 2017 JeJu Noodle Bar places a strong emphasis on outstanding service and hospitality in a fast paced environment. Our cooks are responsible for performing a variety of skilled tasks in food preparation, cooking, presentation, and dining room customer service. While our concept is casual and fast paced, candidates should have experience in upscale and fine dining kitchens. Responsibilities Include : Provide superior service to our customers at all times. Assist with setting up and stocking work areas with all necessary food, supplies, and equipment. . Assist with the proper plating of dishes. Perform a variety of more complex cooking tasks. Ensure that established health and safety procedures are followed. Must be able to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends. Follow all company health, safety and security policies and procedures. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals. Qualifications Preferred: Training in a culinary arts school preferred, or at least three years of professional cooking experience. Experience with fine dining plate presentation. Broad base of knowledge and skills in food handling, preparation, and cooking. Strong understanding of restaurant kitchen operations.
