Training Starts: 11/11 - 11/15 - Target Opening Date: Beginning of December Job Description: As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your warm welcome and attention to detail will ensure that guests feel valued and comfortable from the moment they arrive. You will manage reservations, seat guests, and assist with any inquiries, all while maintaining a polished and professional demeanor. Key Responsibilities: Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a friendly and professional first impression. Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize the flow of service. Escort guests to their tables and present menus with a warm and courteous attitude. Answer phone calls, manage inquiries, and make reservations as needed. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area. Communicate with the service team regarding guest preferences, special occasions, and any specific requests. Assist with managing waitlists and informing guests of wait times as necessary. Qualifications: Previous experience in a host/hostess role or customer service position is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A friendly and approachable demeanor with a focus on guest satisfaction. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
