Housekeeping /Laundry Staff (Overnight 11pm -7am)

JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Housekeeping (Laundry) Immediate Supervisor: John Kourounis Department: Operations Immediate Subordinates: None Program Overview Lincoln Hall's Family Reunification Program (FRP) is on a 450-acre campus in Westchester County, NY, about 45 minutes north of New York City. The FRP provides temporary shelter services to unaccompanied children until they can be safely reunified with sponsors in the United States. While in our care, the children receive a host of services, including clinical, case management, medical, nutritional, recreational, religious, and educational services, all aimed at supporting the child's physical, mental, behavioral, and emotional well-being. Position Description The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the facility while ensuring all laundry services are performed efficiently and effectively. This role is crucial in providing a safe and welcoming environment for minors. Position Requirements Must be 21 years of age, legally able to work in United States.Must possess a valid clean driver's licensePrevious experience in housekeeping and laundry services preferred.Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.Effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions.Essential Functions Collect, sort and wash minors' laundry items according to established procedures.Operate washing machines and dryers, ensuring proper settings and care of laundry and machines.Fold, stack, and deliver clean laundry back to their appropriate cottages.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room and equipment.Monitor inventory of laundry supplies and report needs to their direct supervisor.Daily safety inspections of machines and Laundry Room.Assist with deep cleaning of the cottages as needed. Physical Requirements May involve exposure to cleaning chemicals and potentially hazardous materials.Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbsAbility to stand, bend, and walk extended periodsShift: Overnight - 11pm - 7am, M-F Salary: $20.00/hour Job Type: Full-time /Non-Exempt
