The Service Technician I position is qualified and able to make repairs in the field but is not considered proficient enough to make diagnosis for the repairs unsupervised. The Service Technician I is expected to be proficient in preventative maintenance work. Attitude, work ethic, and a willingness to learn is sought after more than skill level in this position. Service Tech II - The Service Technician II has required accreditations including EPA certification and generally has more than 3 years' experience in the field of HVAC service and repair. The Service Technician II position is qualified and skilled in maintaining and servicing commercial grade HVAC equipment. Service Tech III - The Service Technician III has required accreditations including EPA certification and has more than 5 years' experience in the field of HVAC service and repair. The Service Technician III position is qualified and skilled in maintaining and servicing commercial grade HVAC equipment."¯The successful Service Technician III can work independently while performing full maintenance and service on a wide variety of commercial air-conditioning equipment.
