Apply today to learn more! 1st Shift Production Supervisor The Production Supervisor directs the production team to meet customer needs and achieve standards related to cost, line efficiencies, waste, safety and productivity. This individual must set production performance standards and align the organization to achieve standards. This individual is responsible for supervising a specific shift. This individual must follow all department and company policies and procedures to include but not limited to: Quality and Food Safety Policies, Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Maintenance Practices, CPF Safety and General Work Rules. Principle Responsibilities: * Provides front line supervision for production employees * Knowledge of processes, equipment, and system capability to set challenging individual and facility standards within the plant * Achieve performance standards with regards to safety, line utilization and quality * Tracks key performance indicators/costs, anticipating and correcting trends which would compromise achievement of financial targets * Oversees and assures facility equipment reliability to minimize downtime * Builds people capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for front-line hourly personnel * Ensures employee compliance with all Health, Safety, FDA and GMP regulations * Demonstrated ability to function successfully in a fast paced, changing work environment * Participates in hiring and disciplinary processes, performs employee performance reviews and training sessions. * Verifies all food safety and quality checks performed during the shift. Training Skills Knowledge and/or Experience * A minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment. * Strong leadership and communication skills. * Ability to work a flexible schedule. * Demonstrated computer skills: Microsoft Office * Experience in consumer-packaged products or related industry helpful. * Previous supervisory experience preferred. Supervisory Responsibility * Directly responsible for supervising hourly and salaried employees. Educational Requirements: * High School Diploma or equivalent.
