Job Description Account strategy role responsible for organic growth, planning and development of a book of business with including accounts in retail, financial, CPG, travel, manufacturing and B2B. This account assignment may include some accounts with minimal account share or pure prospects, however the majority of the role is focused on expanding relationships and organic growth with existing customers. Responsible for the direct sales process, achieving sales targets and introducing new products and services to existing clients. Directly responsible for the growth within existing accounts with total net revenue between $2M-$4M. Responsibilities: Agency & Account Growth: * Learns Strategic Growth Planning process working with Senior and Director Account Strategy roles. * Leads and develops organic growth initiatives for accounts. * Assists and participates in developing quarterly check-ins and business reviews. * Inspires the team to develop new solutions and innovative ways of working. * Proactively looks for opportunities to sell new and additional capabilities to solve business challenges. * Introduces new products and services to clients that are aligned with business goals and objectives. Client Relationship Development: * Grows relationships with day-to-day client leads and director-level client relationships. Partners with Senior and Director Account Strategy roles to build senior and executive client relationships. * Seeks to build connections and relationships beyond current clients/business scopes. * Responsible for retaining long-term customer relationships with established clients. * Regularly proposes new opportunities, recommendations and communicates agency value. * Understands and communicates client business goals and priorities, and business problems to solve to the extended team. Additional: * Understands agency capabilities and can articulate professionally to internal teams and clients. * Reviews key work and overall program planning. * Reviews key deliverables and storytelling/approach for strategic client meetings * Ensures that clients receive high-quality customer service. * Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned. * Looks to leverage digital media and marketing capabilities to solve client's challenges when appropriate. Qualifications * Able to apply broad work experience and knowledge when analyzing complex problems. * Must be able to consistently identify critical elements, variables, and alternatives to develop solutions. * Learns how to present effectively to clients and internal teams. Is or can become comfortable speaking to groups with various role levels. * Must be able to organize/prioritize existing resources and incorporate new information, as * needed, to implement the most effective solutions. * Able to communicate clearly and courteously with those who need to know about * decisions/actions/problems. Able to apply excellent business acumen and collaborative skills when resolving problems. * Able to apply excellent functional computer knowledge in utilizing Microsoft Windows, Google Suite, MAC, or other technical tools in completing assignments. * Able to apply expertise in all the tools or applications used to complete work assignments. * Able to mentor junior-level team members in the use of tools and/or systems in the position. * Requires excellent communication skills with the ability to state messages in a clear manner by using language that is easy for others to understand. * Able to explain program policies and procedures in language that is understood by others. * Must be able to modify communication style both formal and informal to match the appropriate level of the audience targeted. Requires a strong understanding of the impact of a message on the organization or customer. Additional Information The national pay range for this role is 70,000 - 90,000 annually. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
