The Inventory Coordinator will work with guidance from the storeroom manager. They will be responsible for the daily operation of the stockroom / warehouse to ensure availability and tracking of all stocked and special ordered parts as well as keeping the warehouse clean and organized. This position requires a focused approach with a high level of attention to detail and accurate record keeping. Previous stockroom or warehouse experience is required. This is a Monday - Friday day shift position with overtime available and required at times. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Accurately receive materials, unpack incoming parts, stock, equipment, and materials required for the effective and efficient operation of the storeroom. Check goods received against packing slip, match to purchase order or invoice in a timely manner. Communicate problems or issues to manager. * Place all inventory in the proper place while reconciling quantity on hand against quantity in inventory software. * Responsible for storeroom inventory labeling and cycle counting. * Ensure inventory control procedures are followed and that quality standards are met. * Reconcile inventories within the department * Contact vendors for RGAs when needed * Update the inventory software as required * Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and well documented * Performs other related duties as assigned by management. * Adopt and follow Aspen's core values of Safety, Quality, Integrity, Teamwork, Customer and Innovation on both a personal and professional level. QUALIFICATIONS: * Good oral and written communication skills * Proven ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment * Good math proficiency and attention to detail * Ability to multi-task * Prior experience with inventory control, receiving, and freight carriers * High School Diploma or equivalent * Moderate computer skills required * Must possess a mechanical aptitude PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed * While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. * The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds * Specialized equipment, machines, or vehicles used: forklift and pallet jack The above is intended to describe the general content of and requirements for the performance of this job.
