This will include conducting diagnostic assessments, scheduling and performing repairs and maintenance on all plant equipment. This is a physically active role requiring the ability to maneuver around heavy equipment including bending, climbing, crawling, manual dexterity, and frequently lifting and carrying objects weighing approximately 40 pounds. If you are a "Jack or Jill of all trades" with a strong knowledge of electrical, carpentry and plumbing, this position would be a perfect fit for you! Primary Responsibilities: * conducting diagnostic assessments, scheduling and performing repairs and maintenance on all plant equipment. * Perform tasks for the upkeep of buildings and grounds * Utilize carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical skills for minor repairs * Perform preventive maintenance of pumps and motors * Ability to read manuals to assist in repairs * Always maintain a clean and pristine work area * Develop preventative maintenance procedures, document completed work orders and perform other assignments to ensure a safe, clean healthy and efficient facility * Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: * High school"¯diploma or GED * Experience 2+ years in maintenance related field Preferred Qualifications: * Certification or license in carpentry, welding or electrical field * Associate Degree from a two-year college or technical school in related field * Knowledge of hazardous materials handling and OSHA training * Ability to communicate fluently in English Disclaimer The successful candidate will be required to pass a physical, drug test, and DEA background check.
