Golden Age Hospitality: The group behind Elvis, The Nines, Deux Chats, Le Dive, and Acme, is excited to announce the opening a new cocktail bar and nightlife venue in the East Village early 2025. We're currently searching for a General Manager to run the show. The GM of this venue MUST be an exceptionally stylish , confident, fashionably chic, social butterfly who effortlessly commands the presence of a room. Besides being a Rockstar, the GM will: Be the ambassador of hospitality, and know how to skillfully curate the guest vibe. Creatively build the party and continuously elevate the energy of the room (music, lighting, seating plan, etc) . Work closely with the door team to ensure the room is curated according to high standards. Create and manage daily guest lists and oversee guest communication, communication with ownership. Demonstrate excellent guest recognition and guest acknowledgement. Build the book of regulars and friends of the house. Actively manage service periods which include cocktail, light food service, and late night service, as well as exclusive private events. Stay up to date, network, and maintain connections within the bar and nightlife industry. Recruit, train, foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork, and motivate staff to deliver excellent service. Coordinate security, FOH, and BOH staff schedules for a staff of about 15. Oversee the bar team to ensure they are executing at a high level of quality and consistency in association with a lead bartender and corporate beverage director. Manage labor budget, cost of goods, sales forecasts and work closely with the finance team to monitor financial performance of the venue. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations What you Bring: 3-5 years proven experience as a GM preferably in both Food service and Nightlife Boundless energy and a solutions oriented approach to your work Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team. Excellent guest service and problem-solving abilities. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Google Suite applications, Seven Shifts, Toast, Resy Knowledge of health and safety regulations and DOH compliance. Experienced and well versed in staff coaching, counseling, progressive discipline and standardized HR practices Must be able to work late nights, weekends, and holidays What we Offer Annual Compensation $120k $250 Monthly Travel Allowance Paid Time Off Health Insurance: medical ,dental, vision Wellness Benefits Company Wide Dining Discounts
