Inventory Control Clerk - Park MGM

THE JOB: As an Inventory Control Clerk, you will manage inventory transactions while also enhancing the guest experience with your friendly demeanor and exceptional service. By recognizing each guest's unique stories and needs, you'll take ownership of their experience, creating memorable WOW moments that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us. THE STARTING PAY RATE: $16.00 / Per Hour THE DAY-TO-DAY: * Create, maintain, and update precise records for all inventory transactions * Ensure the timely distribution of warehouse inventory to the appropriate departments * Execute and document inventory control processes in line with established quality control guidelines and departmental policies * Conduct data entry using the Inventory/Purchasing System * Identify and address customer complaints or issues promptly * Assist in preparing materials and equipment for inventory counts * Support cost accountants in performing required periodic physical inventories THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: * High school diploma, GED or educational equivalent * Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays * Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders * Basic knowledge of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e. telephone, copier, fax machine * Proficiency in fundamental mathematical skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and money handling * Six (6) months of previous experience in shipping, receiving, and/or inventory control * Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms THE PERKS & BENEFITS: * Health & Income Protection benefits (for eligible employees) * Professional and personal development opportunities through employee programs and network groups * Free meals in our employee dining room * Free parking on and off-shift at all MGM Resorts properties * Wellness incentive programs to help you stay healthy physically and mentally * Access to company hotel, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment discounts FULL JOB DESCRIPTION: Are you ready to JOIN THE SHOW?
