Responsibilities: * Perform analysis of business processes within HCM division to access efficiencies and identify opportunities for risk reduction, automation, and process improvement * Interview business owners to discover key pain points and business needs to develop and formulate strategic roadmap and project plans * Develop functional specifications to meet business requirements while also complying with regulatory standards, propose alternative solutions, and present proposed solutions to business owners * Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and maintain project and/or program artifacts, such as scope, approach, solution, plan, resources, estimates; develop, track and manage project forecasts and costs; request budget allocation and reallocations; ensure project and /or program is within budget * Work with functional and technical teams to understand current state processes and pain points, to help formulate strategic solutions and future state vision * Coordinate UAT and QA testing, including test script creation and planning, to accomplish bug-free end products. * Maintain an understanding of data architecture and validation mechanisms in each system impacted by identified technology solutions. * Facilitate team meetings, publish meeting notes and action items, ensure follow up with team members, update project documents and systems, ensure timely completion of action items; adhere to project management standards and processes, including tools and reporting * Coordinate end-to-end project lifecycles and ensure successful completion of all phases, including due diligence and scoping, use case definition, functional design specification, development, testing using functional and operational test cases, production roll-out, and end-user training. * Communicate project status and be the project advocate; take responsibility for proactive risk and issue management; ensure mitigating strategies or contingencies are appropriately applied to anticipated risks and issues * Establish positive and collaborative relationships with stakeholders and demonstrate a clear understanding of both internal and external requirements and success criteria * Integrate and align with other departmental processes and solutions; participate in and facilitate post project/phase reviews; identify, manage and control changes to scope * Collaborate with internal stakeholders and appropriate teams on behavioral change management plan to ensure user adoption of new systems and processes Minimum Education Requirements/Degree and Field: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Computer Science or a related field. Ideal candidate has experience with the following: * Applying agile and waterfall project planning methodologies to multi-year projects * Writing user stories, detailed functional specifications, acceptance criteria for tech development * Coordinating test script planning and creation, with oversight for UAT testing * Understanding of data architecture and validation mechanisms * Driving consensus between program sponsors and senior business stakeholders Salary Range The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $75000-$100000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
