We are currently seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our beloved award-winning French Neobistro, Lutí¨ce. Situated in historic Georgetown, we serve modern and simple French cuisine in a cozy setting while celebrating local and seasonal ingredients from the surrounding region. We are looking for a General Manager who will lead this restaurant with deep care and attention. Responsibilities: Staff Management: Own staff development: hiring, training, developing, evaluating and disciplinary counseling of all on-site employees Plan and conduct regular training, both formal and informal, with all front-of-house staff Ensure staff is upholding leadership behaviors, core values and adhering to strategic and operational priorities Ensure personnel issues are addressed in accordance with established company policies and procedures Maintain open and transparent communication with the staff and management team Conduct reviews and other periodic employee assessments as needed Write a weekly schedule for front-of-house staff Monitor and control labor costs Service and Sales Management: Maintain guest satisfaction by monitoring, evaluating, and auditing food, beverage, and service offerings, initiating improvements and building relationships with patrons. Ensuring staff consistently delivers excellent service, hospitality, and food and beverage. Review and approve the planning, implementation and success of service. Regularly attend and monitor service. Solicite and react appropriately to feedback from guests. Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents. Complete accident reports promptly if a guest or employee is injured. Operations Management: Ensuring completion of various daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports in a timely and accurate manner. Reviewing reports and making operating recommendations to the operations team. Supporting marketing and outreach efforts and offering input and suggestions. Requirements and Qualifications: Must have excellent verbal communication skills and have the ability to work a flexible schedule Technological proficiency, including MS Suite, especially MS Word and Excel, MarginEdge, and Toast Proficient conflict resolution Passion for providing an exceptional customer service experience Proficient in event management/organization Experience in a high-volume and fast-paced environment Knowledgeable in food/beverage pairing Food preparation knowledge Weekend and evening availability ServSafe certification preferred Required Years of Experience The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in the role.
