The Upper Darby School District is looking for applicants for a Technical Supervisor for the Performing Arts Center.This is a part-time position. The hourly rate is $16.48 per hour. QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: Supervise and train student technicians in technical theatre practicesSupervise and run performances without the Production Manager presentAbility to work evenings and weekendsAbility to program and operate ETC Ion Lighting Console and Yamaha CL3 Audio ConsoleAbility to program and operate Powerpoint, QLab, and other digital platforms for presentations and productionsAbility to operate power tools and other necessary equipment to build, fix, or maintain scenery and other equipmentKnowledgeable of microphones, monitors, and other sound equipment and practicesKnowledgeable of lighting equipment and practicesAbility to focus lighting instrumentsAbility to climb ladders, work in genie lifts and catwalks 30 feet in the airAbility to conduct self in a professional manner while working with members of the public, outside organizations, school district personnel, and studentsINTERESTED APPLICANTS SHOULD APPLY BY VISITING > Services>Human Resources>Employment OpportunitiesOur Mission:It is the mission of the Upper Darby School District to provide a comprehensive educational program that develops all learners into critical thinkers, with effective communication skills, empowering them to adapt to an ever-changing world.
