Key Performance Responsibilities: * Achieve Operational Goals: Consistently meet or exceed defined performance metrics by optimizing resources and implementing process improvements. * Maximize Productivity: Effectively plan, organize, and deploy human resources to maximize shift productivity while maintaining high safety and quality standards. * Lead and Develop Team Members: Provide leadership to hourly personnel, including performance evaluations, development planning, and recognition programs to drive engagement and accountability. * Implement Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Promote and execute 6S, Lean Manufacturing practices, and cost-saving measures to support new product launches and improve operational efficiency. * Technical Leadership and Troubleshooting: Provide hands-on support for equipment operation, testing, and troubleshooting. Identify root causes and implement permanent solutions to production issues. * Ensure Safety Compliance: Lead safety initiatives, investigate incidents, and ensure that appropriate corrective actions are implemented. Oversee workers' compensation claims and manage return-to-work programs. * Maintain Process and Quality Standards: Develop and audit process parameters, work instructions, and equipment/tooling maintenance to uphold quality standards. Participate in corrective action meetings to resolve production challenges. Skills and Experience Requirements: * Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role. * Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards) and timekeeping/payroll systems (e.g., Kronos). * Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated success in managing teams to meet operational goals and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Work Environment: * Ability to work in a hot environment depending on weather conditions. The annual salary for this position ranges from $72,000 in our lowest market up to $80,000 in our highest market, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable.
