The ideal Lead Host/Maitre D is upbeat, personable, and responsible, with a hands-on approach. They should be a team player with excellent communication skills, capable of juggling multiple tasks while maintaining a friendly, composed, and gracious demeanor. Skills/Responsibilities: Coordinate and maintain the schedule for the host/greeter team Train, support, and develop new team members Provide input on the improvement and delivery of the greeter training programs Work effectively with others to foster a collaborative team environment Capable of managing the front door independently during high-traffic times Proficient in using OpenTable or similar reservation management systems Maintain a positive and welcoming attitude at all times Build relationships with our regulars to make them feel part of the family Greet guests warmly as they enter, ensuring they feel at home from the moment they arrive Understand table numbers, seating arrangements, and the flow of service Handle phone inquiries, confirm reservations, and escort guests to their tables with professionalism Demonstrate strong communication and active listening skills to ensure accurate and clear information is relayed to both guests and the team Take pride in delivering genuine hospitality and creating memorable experiences for our guests Qualifications: Previous experience in an upscale or high-volume bar environment is preferred but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Salary/Benefits: Average $16-$20 an hour depending on experience Consistent hours and flexible scheduling. 50% off food.
