Project Manager Provide leadership for projects for new product launch, new process development, and or process improvement activities for Virbac US. Develop detailed and comprehensive project plans, charters, and schedules, track appropriate tasks and resources to meet timely completion of specific project deliverables, product launches, as well as process go-lives. Responsibilities Area of responsibility 1: [Ensure all projects adhere to the best practices and Virbac standard approaches for project management.]. Main activities Creation of detailed project charters, obtaining adequate resourcing and alignment with stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans integrating multiple cross-functional group responsibilities to ensure proper management of project schedule. Develop and lead the project plans to support business decisions and strategic initiatives, including but not limited to new product development and business process improvement. Proactively assist in the planning for improving time to market and cycle time delivery in all areas of project deliverables. Excellent communication skills to facilitate meetings and communicate status on projects to the teams. Communicate status and escalation path to the appropriate stakeholders in an efficient and appropriate manner providing an efficient vehicle for remediation and decision making. Document, communicate lead projects based on defined roles and responsibilities for each area of the organization. Develop and document resource planning across all functional areas through effective project management of identified PMO projects Lead project risk assessments and develop mitigation plans - important to be able to quantify risk impacts to timeline, scope & budget. Expected results: To ensure creation and adherence that all project plans are aligned with each functional group within the project team is monitored and reported accurately. Furthermore to ensure an efficient planning process in North America. Requirements: (Diploma and experience) 4 year degree in Engineering, or other Sciences 5+ years of progressive experience in project management in a new product development environment Experience with GMP requirements and fundamentals preferred. Experience in pharmaceutical or biological manufacturing environments preferred. Skills: Able to lead without authority, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. MS Project or similar type of planning and scheduling application.
