Lead Associate Sparks, NV, US Full-time Protective Industrial Products, Inc. Job Summary: Directs and coordinates receiving, shipping, and other warehouse processes in the Inbound department according to established operating procedures by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates. Job Duties & Responsibilities: + Oversee receiving/shipping and put away processes. + Ensure all inbound & outbound merchandise is checked in and stored correctly. + Ensure personnel meet quality standards and is performed according to established procedures. + Provide training to current and new employees in all appropriate procedures and processes required to complete work assignments. + Maintain organized and accurate files for all paperwork related to put away process. + Operate lift trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment to safely move parts to proper locations and load and unload steel trucks, as necessary. + Cycle count inventory according to established guidelines and assist with developing actions to correct inventory problems. + Inspect freight upon arrival, document any signs of damage, and resolve freight claims in a timely manner. + Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers, and management. + Continue to grow, lean knowledge and use the tools to identify and assist with continuous improvement. Required Skills/Abilities and Qualifications: + Must have 3 to 4 yrs. of working in DC receiving department. + Basic knowledge of replenishment, picking procedures, shipping, and inventory control. + Ability to work with minimal supervision. + Outstanding organizational skills. + High School Diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent. + Must be able to work overtime with little or no advance notice + Good communication, organizational, time management skills.
