Position Summary As a Sr. Project Manager, you will be an integral part of the Transformation Execution Office, contributing to the successful management and support of large, complex organizational projects. Your contributions will directly impact project success, organizational efficiency, and the achievement of strategic goals. Responsibilities Project Management Activities: * Manage organizational projects, varying in size and complexity, from medium to large sized initiatives with moderate to high complexity. * Lead cross-functional projects that span multiple business units. * Collaborate with diverse teams to achieve project goals. * Projects will frequently necessitate engaging with remote staff and collaborating with vendors to achieve the assigned project objectives. * Lead project discovery activities (e.g. request for proposals, business case development, security risk assessment). Project Planning and Work Breakdown: * Build project plans down to the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) level, involving team participation. * Create detailed schedules, milestones, and deliverables. * Budget Management and Risk Mitigation: * Develop and manage project budgets. * Address project issues, risks, decisions, and assumptions. * Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation plans. Strategic Alignment: * Analyze project proposals, considering time frames, funding constraints, and appropriate processes. * Ensure project goals align with overall business objectives. Resource Management: * Responsible for resource management across all project phases (discovery, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling, and closing). * Responsible for requesting resources, ensuring availability during necessary project phases, assigning tasks, and monitoring allocated resource hours. * Assign duties and responsibilities to project personnel. * Manage project activities to stay on schedule and within budget. Minimum Requirements * Bachelor's degree or higher * 8+ years of Project Management, progressive leadership, and/or Change Execution experience required. * 3+ years of professional Project/Program Management experience within a PMO/EPMO function. * Experience in leading diverse teams while managing complex and risky projects/programs * PMP Certification required Other Information * Hybrid - A few days a month in the office (Greenville, NC) General Statement It is the goal of ECU Health and its entities to employ the most qualified individual who best matches the requirements for the vacant position.
