Overseeing the daily activities of the telecommunications team, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations. Monitoring call quality and response times to maintain high service standards and address any issues promptly. Providing assistance with telecommunication systems and resolving technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to services. Enforcing company policies and procedures related to telecommunications, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency. Efficiently managing resources, including staff and technology, to meet the demands of the organization. Analyzing call data and generating reports to inform management decisions and identify areas for improvement. Enhancing the overall customer experience by ensuring that calls are handled professionally and efficientlySpecific Duties and Responsibilities:The Assistant Director (Hospitals) Lv II is charged with and responsible for:• Supervise department and telephone operators.• Timekeeping• Performs work of a telephone operator as appropriate.• Operate Siemens 9751 console.• Direct incoming and in-house calls to the appropriate destination.• Ensure notification to all hospital staff in the event of the following situations: o Fire Alarms o Disaster Control (Internal/External) o Individuals in Medical Distresso Pacemaker Calls• Program and distribute Multi-tone in-house and long range pagers to house staff.• Ensure the contact of key personnel for each hospital service, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for routine business as well as emergencies.• Overhead paging and announcements.• Departmental clerical functions.• Special projects as deemed necessary.• Create monthly departmental work schedule for staff.Minimum Qualifications1. Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a specialization in hospital administration,health care administration, public health or a related discipline; or2. Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in disciplines, as described in "1" above,and one (1) year of administrative experience; or3.
