Responsible for maintaining all converting and corrugating equipment to minimize downtime.Primary DutiesLearn relevant local and company requirements, rules and procedures. Strictly follows rules and guidelines and always uses the right procedure for the job. Promptly reports incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions or processes. SKNA employees regardless of level, position or tenure are responsible for upholding the safety standards regulations and policies.Practice safe work habits at all timesDemonstrate ability to parallel all rolls, make all required settings and adjustments for optimum equipment performance to manufacture quality productsDemonstrate ability to teach other maintenance classifications in all qualification requirements and proper maintenance proceduresDemonstrate ability to troubleshoot programmable controllers and troubleshoot and repair all A/C and D/C drives and their control systems useDemonstrate ability to use all aspects of the maintenance software programDemonstrate ability to plan and schedule maintenance work, assign work to other maintenance classifications according to their abilities and limitationsFollow up all work in order to insure repairs and work are performed properlyMaximize the utilization of equipment by maintaining the machinery to run at available capacity and speedComplete all paperwork neatly, correctly, and in accordance with Company guidelines.Willingly work all necessary hours and shiftsHelp maintain good housekeeping in work areasComply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeepingMay be assigned to other projects and dutiesJob Qualifications High school diploma or GEDSuccessfully demonstrate all Class B qualificationsProvide own tools necessary to perform maintenance tasksPrior work experience in the corrugated industry, preferredPrior work experience as a forklift operator, preferredMay be required to maintain a current Lift Truck Operator License and/or other appropriate certification to work in certain areas or on certain equipmentAble to read and follow instructions on word orders, specifications, and machine drawingsAble to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy. Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume and rate.
