We are excited to welcome experienced Bartenders to Shy Shy, the latest venture by the team behind the popular Jungle Bird. Opening this November in Chelsea, New York, Shy Shy is dedicated to redefining the cocktail experience with a botanical-forward program that emphasizes martinis and innovative takes on classic cocktails. Curated by Krissy Harris, our bar aims to foster a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere where sustainability and diversity are celebrated. At Shy Shy, guests can expect to enjoy thoughtfully crafted drinks in a setting that values and uplifts every individual. Shy Shy's food program aims to compliment the unique cocktail offerings, drawing inspiration from the Pacific Northwest with an emphasis on locally sourced seafood. The menu is designed for sharing, featuring a range of small plates that pair well with our drinks, creating a casual yet refined atmosphere for socializing. This approach to dining encourages guests to explore and enjoy a variety of flavors alongside their beverages, making each visit to Shy Shy a new experience. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and serve a range of drinks with a focus on botanical ingredients and innovative twists on classic cocktails. Engage guests with charismatic and knowledgeable service, helping them navigate our cocktail and food menu. Incredible attention to detail and providing highest level of hospitality. Engage with guests to build rapport, create memorable experiences, and encourage repeat patronage. Qualifications: Extensive bartending experience, particularly in high volume cocktail service. Authentic passion for hospitality. Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster a welcoming environment. Strong understanding of sanitation and safety regulations.
