Front of House Staff

The authentic Chinese hot pot restaurant, located at downtown Chicago Streeterville, is looking for passionate servers, host, buss boys and food runners to join us. Server Responsibilities: • Warmly welcome guests and provide recommendations from our menu. • Take orders and ensure timely delivery of dishes and drinks. • Maintain the inviting ambiance of our restaurant. • Collaborate seamlessly with our kitchen team. • Address guest inquiries and go the extra mile to ensure satisfaction. Requirements: Previous serving experience is valued but not required. A warm and welcoming demeanor. Effective communication and team-player mentality. Availability for evening and weekend shifts. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Experience with Toast POS and Resy is a plus! Host Responsibilty: Be warm, knowledgeable and noticeably appreciative Accommodate guests by making each individual feel welcome Act professionally and always maintain composure   Identify and report problems to management immediately   Be aware of service flow, dining timing, and adjust for each guest's individual needs   Implement and follow steps of service Busser/Runner Responsibilities: Setting up tables with the appropriate mis en place (ketchup, salt pepper, HP and sugar bowl). Making sure all stations are fully stocked and ready for service - maintain stations fully during service. Setting up candles on the tables. Detailing all tables before the start of service to ensure place settings are neat and organized. Delivering bread and water to all tables in their assigned section, assisting other section when necessary. Making sure the bread warmer is always organized and full. Clearing tables between each course. Clearing and re-setting tables for new guests.
