Carbon Copy is a brewery and winery located in West Philly. We serve a variety of house brewed beer, housemade wine, cocktails from PA based spirits, and N/A beverages alongside our pizza focused food menu. We opened our West Philly brewery in December of 2022 and recently opened a second location in Port Richmond. With the growth of the company, we are looking for someone to assist us managing Front of House operations at our West Philly location. The role of the assistant manager is to ensure service runs smoothly, interact with guests, handle issues with guests and/or staff when they arise, manage the counter/take out sales, and ensure the restaurant is properly closed. The ideal candidate would have a positive attitude, an interest in beer and wine, a desire to grow within the company, and be able to follow/enforce rules and guidelines set forth. Pay Starting at $22/hour plus tips generated from sales at the counter and take-out orders Schedule Shifts would typically be nights Wednesday through Sunday Full or Part Time Responsibilities Supervise front of house staff Ensure proper steps of service are being followed Manage Daily Money (drawers, change, deposits) Ensure servers/bartenders are following rules/guidelines outlined in Employee Handbook Check out servers and bartenders closing duties/side work Ameliorate guest/service problems Completing daily shift notes Inventory reporting Closing the restaurant Minor edits to menu in Toast POS Seat guests Run food and bus as needed Coordinate take out orders Ring up guests for take out beer/food and merch Handle any discounts/comps needed Fill in other FoH roles if we are short staffed on your scheduled shifts Qualifications Previous management experience in food and beverages is required Willingness to become ServSafe and RAMP certified (paid for by Carbon Copy) Willingness to learn about draft systems operation and troubleshooting Ability to problem solve Work well under pressure and handle difficult interactions with guests and staff Good verbal and written communication skill
