The Restaurant at Kanopi features chef-led tasting menus, boutique wine pairings and an intimate dining experience. Kanopi offers a unique farm-to-table culinary experience unlike any other. Chef Anthony Goní§alves, his wife Andreia Goncalves and the team capture the essence of Portugal while remaining firmly rooted in the Hudson Valley through seasonal menus comprised of old world flavors and local farm-fresh ingredients. We are seeking a driven and energetic addition to our culinary team as a Pastry Chef. Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to: Oversee the production of all pastries, desserts, and breads. Ensure consistency in quality, taste, and presentation. Participation in Weekly Meetings Working in a clean and organized manner, cleaning station at end of shift The Ideal candidate should have/be: Minimum 2 years fine dining experience Able to work calmly under pressure Professional demeanor Well-groomed appearance Positive attitude and excellent communication skills Comfortable with Oral and Written communicaton in English
