Senior Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

MITER Brands also known as Milgard, MI Windows & Doors and PGT Innovations, is one of the nation's largest suppliers of vinyl windows and patio doors, with plants across the country. We are looking for a Senior Production Supervsior - 2nd Shift for our Hegins, Pennsylvania manufacturing plant.Shift: 2nd Shift (4 - 10 hour days)Pay Range: 74k - 93k, depending on experienceDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESIn addition to running a line (i.e., current role and responsibilities), you will have some oversight responsibilities on multiple linesActs as a lead supervisor and resource for other supervisors, team leads and team membersAble to help resolve production and employee issues on third shift, when neededKeeps Department Managers informed on operating and / or employee problems, which may require their attention or knowledgePersonnel management/reallocation as needed, orientation assignments/training, and assisting with team member development are part of your responsibilityYou must be able to motivate employees to achieve resultsMust be an effective communicator, capable of teaching and generating results while enhancing the MI work environment and supporting the Company philosophyManage staffing, orientation, training, and team member developmentResponsible for: developing people, improving processes, reducing costs, quality monitoring and improvements, superior customer service, and on-time deliveryResponsible for appropriate staffing and departmental scheduling of personnel to meet manufacturing requirements while minimizing costsResponsible for planning departmental operations by establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing productsDevelops or revises standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standardsEnsures plant staff (Leads) enforce Company policies and procedures, plant-wide safety rules, and employee rules of conductResponsible for training, disciplining, and coaching employeesAble to motivate employees to achieve results.
