Job Description The Line Cook's primary responsibility is to cook in our kitchen, following our Head chef's specifications and guidelines ensuring total guest satisfaction. This is achieved by: Being able to read and follow recipes, follow directions and lists outlined by a chef Understanding and following the proper DOH food safety policies Being punctual and paying attention to detail Maintaining a positive and professional attitude with coworkers Having the ability to stand while working for long periods of time Performing other duties as directed Required experience Experience in a high-volume restaurant Maintain high-quality standards, clean work habits with a great attention to detail Familiar with industry's best practices, equipment, and procedures Ability to work in a team environment and take feedback well Ability to meet physical and scheduling demands of the position, including, walking, standing, or lifting heavy items for extended periods of time Able to work nights, weekends and holidays, and variable schedule, per the needs of the business Obvio is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
