Description We are offering a contract-to-hire employment opportunity for a Help Desk Manager in our Buffalo, New York location. This role is critical in the IT industry, where you will be managing our help desk team, overseeing the processing of customer inquiries, and ensuring accurate customer records. Responsibilities: - Lead the help desk team in providing exceptional customer service and support - Oversee and handle the processing of customer inquiries and applications - Manage the use and maintenance of ITSM, Cisco, Citrix, Cloud, and Dell Technologies - Ensure accurate and efficient maintenance of customer credit records - Utilize skills in Active Directory, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, and Deployments for Deskside Support - Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary - Collaborate with other IT teams to manage and resolve complex issues - Implement strategies for the improvement of help desk services - Train and mentor help desk staff on troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques - Manage resources and workloads to meet department objectives and customer satisfaction. Requirements - Significant experience in a help desk or IT customer service setting is mandatory for this role. - Proficiency in active directory management and operations. - Demonstrable knowledge of computer hardware, including troubleshooting and repair. - Experience with configuration management to ensure system security and performance optimization. - Proven ability to manage and execute IT deployments, including hardware and software installations. - Strong understanding of deskside support, including providing technical assistance to end users. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to effectively interact with team members and customers. - Problem-solving ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly. - Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. - Leadership skills to guide and motivate the help desk team. - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
