Counter Sales/Warehouse

Job Type: Full-time U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. - USESI is the country's largest independent electrical wholesale distributor, which is comprised of 14 regional businesses, over 100 years of experience, $100M+ in inventory, and more than 2,000 employees. U.S. Electrical Services is looking for a Counter Sales/Warehouse worker to join our Team Duties & Responsibilities: * Assist customers in a prompt and timely manner at the counter, via email, and phone. * Create sales orders, transfers and RGA's. * Keep Counter/Warehouse area clean and organized and all equipment is properly maintained. * Service walk-in customers. * Small project pricing and order processing. * Effectively quote, place, assemble and process orders. * Review all orders to determine if they were picked correctly. * Proactively track orders in computer system for customer and processing efficiency. * Expand customer base and grow counter sales and profits. * General warehouse work, putting stock away, pulling will calls, and inventory preparations. * Safely operate all necessary equipment in the work area. * Other duties assigned by manager Competencies: * Essential customer service and communication skills * Driven professional with a strong desire to make a meaningful impact, foster business growth, and contribute to the development and success of the organization. * Product and application knowledge, including ability to read manufacturer catalogs * Willing to learn and work in a team environment. * Proficiency for data entry utilization of web browsers & internet search engines * Basic mathematical calculations required to accurately complete assigned tasks (discounts vs. markup, etc.) Qualifications: * High School diploma, GED or equivalent * Experience is a plus * Ability to move/lift to 50 pounds unassisted. * Ability to withstand temperatures of a typical warehouse environment. * Ability and desire to learn warehouse and company operations. * Ability to withstand temperatures of a typical warehouse environment.
