Service Technician Openings X5

Job Title: Service Technician (Local Travel) 5 openings for Serivce Techs all around Chicagoland! Will be traveling locally and will be home every night, company vehicle provided! * Troubleshoot and perform diagnostics on malfunctioning equipment, determine possible causes for malfunctions, and perform repairs as suggested by diagnostics and assessment. Prior to and following preventative maintenance and repairs, test and document the proper operating parameters of the equipment. * Document all work performed daily using company provided hardware and software. Develop rapport with customers through effective communication, interpersonal skills, and professionalism. * Display the ability to manage time accordingly. Must have the ability to work and solve problems independently. Promote and practice proper safety procedures and the correct use of personal protective equipment at all times. Preferred * Prior experience working with compressors, vacuums, blowers, generators or industrial equipment. * Experience with HVAC, EPA Certified, heavy industrial or electro-mechanical experience. * Electrical experience in addition to mechanical experience is preferred. Travel and Additional Information * These roles are 100% road-based travel, and candidates will receive a company vehicle. * Based on locations, averaging 45-55 hours per week. Paid for all windshield time. * Technicians will need to be able to travel for 1 week at a time to Corporate in SC for training 2x a year. * Technicians are required to provide their own basic tools. * Technicians receive a company vehicle, a gas card, a laptop, and a company cell phone and are paid for overtime after they reach 8 hours worked in 1 day. There is also an on-call rotating schedule among the technicians on the team. * Technicians receive $75.00 for the week they are on call and then the overtime pay when they are on the actual call.
