Hologic's Field Maintenance Engineer Program is a blend of in-house training and hands-on experience to help you get a jumpstart in the healthcare industry in the role as a Field Maintenance Engineer (FME). As part of the Field Maintenance Engineer Program, you will attend classroom training in our Marlborough, MA training facility and complete required online coursework to development your knowledge and skills in X-Ray technology and mammography specific to Hologic equipment. In addition, you will be paired with an experienced Field Service Engineer in your district to shadow and learn from during the six-month training period. As a candidate in the Field Maintenance Engineer Program, you will perform various equipment service processes and procedures focused on completing equipment installations and preventative maintenance activities to drive customer satisfaction and ensure proper functionality of Hologic equipment. This program is designed to develop and grow entry level candidates with minimal experience. After six months, and having met the requirements of the program, you will be ready to work independently with your field teams in the position of Field Maintenance Engineer. You will be responsible for performing installations and preventative maintenance activities on specific mammography equipment while continuing to gain knowledge and experience servicing other Hologic mammography products. Onboarding at Hologic provides access to cutting-edge training facilities and exposure to leadership and project opportunities. Training curriculum builds the skills and competencies required to grow within the field service engineering organization. Mentoring program strategically partners each Field Maintenance Engineer with an experienced field employee. Career Pathing offers a line of sight to available opportunities to develop technically and professionally within Hologic. Field Maintenance Engineers will have priority to open roles throughout the organization and will have managers visibility on performance. Education * Associate's Degree or equivalent electronics-based military training required; concentration in Biomed, Electronics or Electrical preferred Additional Details * Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. The annualized base salary range for this role is $56,100 to $87,800 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
