An esteemed and successful client is looking for an experienced General Manager to run a high volume, high energy fine dining property and make sure that the restaurant is set up for success everyday. He/She will have bottom line responsibility and accountability for the fiscal health of the restaurant and must be the "face" of the restaurant by adhering to these position requirements: Role: General Manager Position Overview: As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of the organization. You will play a key role in developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve business objectives and enhance profitability. This position requires strong leadership skills, business acumen, and a passion for driving results. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business goals and objectives. Provide leadership and direction to department heads and staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Oversee day-to-day operations, including sales, marketing, finance, human resources, and customer service. Monitor financial performance and budgetary compliance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and business partners. Stay abreast of industry trends and market conditions, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, prioritizing safety, quality, and environmental sustainability. Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of the role. Qualifications: Proven track record of success in a management role, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the Hospitality industry. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results. Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to make data-driven decisions. Demonstrated financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and performance management. Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
