About The Role As an Account Manager (AM) at POSH, you will be a key player in our Customer Success team, managing renewals and driving upsell opportunities. Your primary focus will be ensuring that our organizers stay with POSH and grow their business through our platform. You will lead all renewal and upsell responsibilities across your book of business. This role is crucial for maintaining high customer retention rates and contributing to revenue growth. We've achieved more than teams 10x our size in a tenth of the time - and there's so much more to come. Key Responsibilities 1. Renewal Management * Ownership of Renewals: Manage the entire renewal process for assigned accounts, ensuring that renewals are closed efficiently and at the highest possible rate (85-90% target). * Renewal Pipeline: Build and maintain a robust renewal pipeline, tracking renewal dates, contract terms, and key decision-makers. * Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within your accounts to ensure long-term customer loyalty and satisfaction. 2. Upsell Management * Identify Opportunities: Work closely with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to identify upsell opportunities within your assigned accounts. * Closing Deals: You will lead the upsell process, from initial identification through contract negotiation and closure. You will be expected to close 8-12 upsells per month. 3. Collaboration and Communication * Internal Collaboration: Work closely with CSMs, AEs, and product teams to align on customer needs and ensure a seamless customer experience. * Team Participation: Join Strategic Business Reviews (SBRs) with CSMs to evaluate account performance and identify growth opportunities. Skills and Experience You'll Need * 4+ years of experience in account management, sales, or a similar role within a SaaS or technology environment. * Proven track record of managing renewals and driving upsell growth within a customer base. * Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals efficiently and effectively. * Experience working with cross-functional teams, particularly sales, customer success, and product. * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal teams. * Strong analytical skills and experience with customer success metrics. * Proficiency in CRM software and customer success platforms such as Salesforce, Vitally, and others. Nice to Haves * Experience in the live events or ticketing industry as an organizer or in a customer-facing role. * Background in a fast-growing startup environment, particularly in customer success or revenue-driven roles. * Technical expertise interested in data and insights, particularly in using data to drive customer success and revenue growth. Compensation * Salary: Competitive, with base salary making 65%-75% of On-Target Earnings (OTE). * Performance-Based Incentives: Additional compensation based on performance, including renewals closed and upsells secured.
