Production Supervisor

Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations of the production technician teams to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate production output.Lead and mentor team leads, and production employees.Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, performance metrics, and production updates.Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to ensure deadlines are met.Ensure all production activities comply with quality standards and regulatory requirements.Implement and maintain quality control procedures to identify and resolve production issues promptly.Analyze production processes and identify areas for improvement.Implement lean manufacturing practices to reduce waste and increase efficiency.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.Prepare and present regular production reports to the Production Manager.Maintain accurate records of production activities, equipment maintenance, and employee performance.Manage resources effectively, including manpower, materials, and equipment.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field preferred.Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a production supervisory role, preferably in the automotive aftermarket industry.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, and payroll systems preferred.Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies preferred.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Communication & Collaboration: Communicates clearly and concisely, while engaging proactively with colleagues.Value for Customers: Delivers superior value through commitment to quality, service and reliability.Innovation: Applies and shares ideas and best practices.
