With over two decades of experience in the maintenance and construction industries, we are seeking to welcome Maintenance Technician Level I to join our dynamic team.Scope of workThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for the general maintenance and orderliness of the property and oversight of the maintenance systems to ensure optimal operations and client/tenant satisfaction in accordance with department protocol.Job ResponsibilitiesComplete work orders as assigned - general mechanical, structure repair, handyman services, painting, etc.Preform assigned preventative maintenance tasks and make recommendations for repair, replacing or improving equipmentPerform light commercial plumbing, HVAC, and carpenter duties as assignedAssist co-workers with major electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry related projectsTrack and document observations, recommendations, and completed assignments through various project and maintenance software systemsCommunicate effectively to appropriate individual building status and changesAdhere to all safety standards, policies & procedures, codes of conduct and best practicesAlways act in a professional and courteous manner with client, co-workers, vendors, etc.Utilize materials, supplies, tools and other building property in a safe, productive mannerPerform other duties and special projects as assignedRequirements At least 2 years of experience as a maintenance technician or similar related roleAbility to communicate using email, and some experience working with a computerMust have experience working with facility management software, systems, and equipmentAvailable to work evenings/weekends and overtimeMust have extensive knowledge in Commercial HVAC, electrical, plumbingAbility to work off JLG/ Scissor Lifts /staging & ladders while paintingAbility to learn new skills and be independent as well as work well within a team atmosphereMust have a valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience- approvals and final decision is subjected to our automobile insurance carrier's criteriaCompensation: $23.00- $24.00 per hour (Based on experience), medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 401k.
